Incantation Poem
Iridescent dew drops
spilling down leaves
into potion bottles
that shimmer and swirl.
Words chanted over boiling pots
and lifeless corpses.
Moondust sprinkling down
mingling with the tides,
creating mystic energies.
These things live
solely in my imagination.
They cannot give
me liquid courage
or make me fly,
they cannot force love
or bring people back.
There are no miracles
for in reality,
the world holds
little magic.
