Aquamarine Fallacy

Waters begin to rise,
people question the tides.
Homes destroyed people decimated,
I watch from a screen as people are obliterated.
I watch as fallacy numbs the mind,
arguing over if lives taken by tides are arbitrarily intertwined.
Nothing but a whimsical occurrence yet intellect tells us otherwise,
that these tides take lives with intent in mind behind our eyes.
