About the Artist: Keithlyn Steter Alves is an 18-year-old student at Ringling College of Art and Design. Her family is from Brasil, but she was born in Melbourne, Florida. She has jumped from city to city but stayed in the Southeastern portion of Florida. The pieces submitted are studies where she practiced with different media---charcoal and conte. She has previously entered and won a few local art competitions starting from 8th grade. She hopes she can one day get her art in galleries all over the world.
