About the artist: Monay Woods is a sixteen year old high school student and artist from Northern California. She is currently aspiring to be a famous painter and all around artist while dwelling in activities based in community leadership for those of color. Monay aspires to give back to the community through cultural expression in order to help remind those of their significant roots and history of ancestral heritage.
